Suffice

Terms of Use

Last updated 4 September 2026

By using Suffice, you agree to these terms. Read the one below in the orange box first - it matters more than the rest of this page.

Not financial advice

Suffice is a planning and projection tool. Every number it shows - how much you'll have, when you could stop working, what a loan will cost - comes from assumptions you entered or edited: return rates, inflation, how long you'll work. Change the assumption and the number changes with it. None of it is a recommendation, and none of it is a guarantee of what markets or your own finances will actually do. For advice specific to your situation, talk to a licensed financial advisor, tax professional, or other qualified person - not this app.

1What Suffice is

Suffice projects a financial plan forward using compounding, tax rules, and assumptions you control - for FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) planning in an Indian context: PPF, EPF, NPS, and the rest. It is a calculator, not an advisor. It doesn't know your full financial picture, your risk tolerance, or anything you haven't typed into it.

2No account, your own device

There's no sign-up and no account with us. Your plan lives on your device, or in your own iCloud if you choose to turn on sync - see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that means. You're responsible for keeping your own device secure and for backing up your data if you want a copy beyond your phone.

3Suffice Pro and purchases

Suffice Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks unlimited goals and accounts. It's billed once through Apple's App Store - there's no subscription, no recurring charge. Refunds, billing disputes, and payment methods are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own App Store terms; we don't process payments and can't issue refunds ourselves.

4Acceptable use

Use Suffice for your own financial planning. Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app, and don't use it in any way that violates applicable law. That's the whole list - this isn't a multi-user product with anything to abuse beyond the app itself.

5No warranty

Suffice is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied - including any warranty that its projections, tax calculations, or interest-rate assumptions are accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances. Tax rules and administered rates (PPF, EPF, and similar) change; the app relies on figures that may go stale between updates, and Settings exists specifically so you can correct them when they do.

6Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any financial decision you make using Suffice, or for any loss - investment, tax, or otherwise - that results from using or relying on the app. You're solely responsible for verifying anything important against your own advisor or your own records before acting on it.

7Changes to the app

We may update, change, or discontinue features over time. Because your data lives on your own device or your own iCloud, you keep it regardless of what happens to the app itself - nothing about ending use of Suffice puts your data at risk of loss on our end, because it was never on our end.

8Governing law

Suffice is built for Indian tax and investment rules, and these terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9Changes to these terms
